HONOUR BOARDS
A
dedicated group of residents from Montmorency, Lower Plenty, Eltham &
Greensborough
met in
September 1962, with a goal in mind - to form a bowling club which would
provide
recreation,
pleasure & competition to the people in this area.
Although our Club was founded in1962, it was 1966 before the final realization
of the dream
of this hardworking band of ladies and gentlemen came true.
The
present Clubhouse, which has recently been renovated and refurbished,
two
"Greengauge" carpet surfaces which were first laid in 2002 and
replaced in 2006
and Lighting on
both Greens, are not only a monument to that band of people
but
also to our current progressive and
hardworking members.
